Nurturing Resilience, Confidence, and Wellbeing

I believe secure attachment is the heart of every child’s journey, it’s what helps them feel safe, loved, and ready to learn. Both family and educators have a special role in building these strong, trusting bonds that shape how children see the world and themselves. On this website, I’ll share insights, tips, and ideas to help you nurture those connections and support children’s growth in a joyful, meaningful way.

About me

Hi, I’m Diana! I’m a fully qualified Early Years Educator with over ten years’ experience as a nursery practitioner and six years as a childminder. My setting, Wise Childcare, has been graded Outstanding by Ofsted, feel free to take a peek on Facebook!

I’m passionate about supporting every child’s unique development, understanding that emotional wellbeing is just as vital as a rich learning environment.

I’m currently studying Coaching and Therapeutic Practice with Children and Families (ACCPH), combining these skills to offer a truly holistic approach to child development in my setting. Next step? Level 5!

I’ve also shared my expertise in an article on Childminding.co.uk, exploring how to implement coaching and therapeutic approaches effectively within childminding settings to support children, families, and professionals alike.

Beyond Early Years is my educational platform for childminders, early years educators, and parents. It bridges childcare, coaching, and therapeutic practice, giving parents and professionals practical, evidence based tools to deepen their understanding of child development.

From fostering emotional resilience and self-regulation to enhancing communication skills, it’s all about helping children thrive while empowering adults with reflective insights and actionable strategies. Beyond Early Years embodies my belief in moving beyond traditional education, promoting a compassionate, informed approach to lifelong wellbeing.

I’m also working on my ebook, aimed at helping childminders thrive and develop amazing practice. My goal is to inspire childcare professionals to feel happy, confident, and equipped to support children who are ready for anything life throws at them.

On a personal note, I have a lovely son, an amazing partner two adorable dogs. Oh! And a tortoise! I love nature, books, and after twenty years, I’m finally returning to my first love: writing! I used to write stories as a teenager and have always loved exploring ideas and learning through words. It’s fun, it’s creative, and it’s very me.

Whether it’s child development, coaching, or storytelling, I believe in curiosity, compassion, and celebration for children, parents, and professionals alike.
