About Beyond Early Years

I began my journey in Early Years in 2012 and  am a qualified Early Years Educator. In 2020, I opened my own childminding setting, and for the past six years, I have been supporting young children and families, guiding them through the crucial early years of learning, emotional development, and behaviour. Over time, I became deeply passionate about children’s brain development, behaviour, and social-emotional growth, understanding that recognising the underlying causes of behaviours is essential to truly helping a child and supporting the whole family.

This passion inspired me to create Beyond Early Years, a space built on a holistic, compassionate approach to childhood development. I am currently studying coaching and therapeutic practice with children and families, which allows me to provide parents and early years professionals with trusted, evidence-informed guidance, practical strategies, and tools to foster resilience, communication, confidence, and emotional wellbeing in children.

Beyond Early Years aims to bridge the gap between professional knowledge and parental support, offering a trusted source of information, guidance, and learning opportunities for both families and childcare professionals. The “beyond” in the name reflects that development doesn’t stop at age five or with nursery it’s a lifelong journey shaped by early support.

Through Beyond Early Years, I share my professional experience, educational knowledge, and genuine passion for children’s development to create a community where children feel secure, valued, and understood, and where adults gain the confidence, skills, and resources to nurture and support children every step of the way.
